Aymara Split-Circle Orange Sky Line Butterfly Cufflinks

These butterflies, also known as the "Giant Swallowtails," are recognized by their elongated forewings, short and narrow hind wings, and broad yellow bands. The cufflinks are made from real Cantonephele Acontinius butterfly wings, which are then enameled over, and set in a split-circle shaped Peruvian Sterling Silver. These butterflies are anxious to decaying plantain or banana on the forest ground, and feed primarily on overripe fruits in the forest shade. Like most butterflies, they also take in mineral-rich moisture from the clammy earth along forest tracks and roads.
